Alicante businesses to receive Chinese boost

Presenting the 2011 programme at the start of December, the organisation’s president, Miguel Agulles Llobell, said the budget will be 9% larger than in 2010 and that footwear and leathergoods will be among the sectors that will feature most prominently.
Mr Agulles said that a trade mission to Morocco had been one of the most successful exercises this year and that the chamber of commerce would try to repeat this success in 2011.
Another idea for which it has set aside investment is in helping local business leaders improve their ability to communicate in English and in Mandarin.
