Street lighting at last for Karachi tanning cluster

The Tannery Zone in Korangi, which is the largest cluster of tanneries in Pakistan and an important generator of foreign exchange for the national exchequer, has had to wait 35 years for street lighting, the PTA pointed out. The industry organisation is still lobbying to improve water supplies to the area and the condition of roads in the area.
