Shoe and bag exports soar in Chinese province

The China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) has reported the export value for shoes, bags, apparel and furniture increased by 70.4%, 64%, 113.6% and 52% respectively in the Heilongjiang province, in northeast China, during the first ten months.
The export value for footwear rose to $1.17 billion and for bags to $1.04 billion. The export growth in the province is higher than the national average growth for the same products.
