Leather Research Institute to be built in China

The China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) has reported a Leather Engineering Institute is to be built in Fuxin, northeastern China. The institute will cost more than $8 million and will cover an area of 15,390 square metres. A leather research centre, leather products technical centre, testing centre and environmental centre will all operate within the institute, as well as an information and training centre.
