Clariant offers a home to other companies

Leather chemicals manufacturer Clariant has announced that it is turning its 37-hectare production site at Muttenz in Switzerland into “a completely new industrial park”. Around 16 hectares on the site will be available for other companies to use.

Clariant said the site would be particularly suited to companies in the research, chemicals and life sciences sectors. It said the site offers good access for shipping goods by road, rail and air and was within easy reach for companies in Switzerland, southern Germany and eastern France.

The company’s country manager for Switzerland, Renaud Spitz, said the new development would offer “an appealing new home” for interested companies.
