Good figures for leather sector exports from Pakistan

Pakistan's leather sector exports for the month of October 2010 were up by 27.6% compared to the same month in 2009 according to data released by the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

The breakdown showed that during October 2010 the country exported finished leather worth $33.2 million and leathergoods valued at $46.3 million. The value of leather footwear exports for the month was $7.8 million.

Pakistan's leather sector exports for the first four months of current financial year (July-October 2010) rose by 20.1% to $353.4 million compared to the same period last year.
