DyStar still sees value in Boehme brand

The Leather Performance Team of chemicals provider DyStar has reported a positive experience at the 2010 All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) in Shanghai in September. The Leather Performance team had on display two ranges of products, the original leather chemicals of the Boehme brand and leather dyestuffs in the DyStar Solvaderm MF and Solverderm MC range.

DyStar acquired Boehme in 2006, but the German company is convinced the Boehme brand name still has a powerful appeal. “T
he key attention grabber [at ACLE] was definitely the two brand names of DyStar and Boehme,” said John Clegg, global director of DyStar’s Leather Performance division.
