Kangnai opens high-end flagship store in Beijing

Chinese footwear firm Kangnai Group opened its first flagship store for high-end leather shoes in Beijing at the end of October. Officials from the ministry of commerce, the China National Council of Light Industry and the China Leather Industry Association attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon for the new store.

President of the group Zheng Xiukang said the Beijing store marks the beginning of a transformation from high-end shoemaking to high-end brand creation for Kangnai. Shoes in the newly opened store sold for prices as high as $250 per pair.

Around 500 stores from the 2900 the group runs worldwide will be considered as possible outlets for shoes from the high-end range, under the brand name Kangnai Family. More flagship stores will open across China in the near future.
