Townsend leather announces new collection
02/11/2010
US upholstery leather producer Townsend Leather has launched a new range called WET Leather, which it says will work well in interior designs for aviation, hospitality or residential, adding glamour and “a depth of sheen that is truly striking”.
WET Leather was developed by a proprietary process that makes the tips of embossed leathers look like they have been “kissed by raindrops”, Townsend said, while still maintaining softness and beauty. The leathers are produced from whole bovine hides of between 55 and 65 square-feet, are available in two embossed looks called Mist and Dew and in a choice of seven colours, although custom colours will also be available.
