Dents opens new leather glove factory
UK-based leather glove manufacturer Dents is building a new factory in Warminister, in the southwest of England.
The new unit will cover 30,000 square-feet and will incorporate production lines, a distribution centre and several offices. The new unit is expected to open towards the beginning of 2011 and will cost around £2.3 million ($3.6 million) to build.
Dents has been handcrafting leather gloves since it was established in Worcester in 1777. It now also produces handbags, small leather goods and accessories.
