Strong leathergoods sales boost LVMH results
Luxury group LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has posted revenue of €14.2 billion for the first nine months of 2010, a 19% rise compared with the same period in 2009.
The Fashion and Leathergoods division was the biggest earner. Sales grew 20% to EUR5.46 billion during the first nine months. The Louis Vuitton brand performed particularly well, with the Monogram and Damier leathergoods leading the way. The group’s Fendi and Donna Karan brands have also gained momentum since the start of the year.
