Leather Field wins FPCCI export award
Pakistan's largest leather garment manufacturer and exporter Leather Field was a winner at the recent Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Export Awards. The trophy was presented to Qaiser Mehmood Cheema, director of company by Pakistan’s President, Asif Ali Zardari last week. Leather Field posted leather garment exports of Rs3.3 billion ($38.3 million) between July 2009 and June 2010.
Sialkot-based firm Blue Horizon was given an FPCCI trophy at the same event for its leather glove exports, which totalled Rs516 million during the year.
FY 2009-2010.
Shafi Reso-Chem received an FPCCI trophy for its leather chemical and dye exports, which were worth Rs41 million.
