Argentinean beef exports fall 64%

Argentina’s beef exports totalled 12,615 tonnes in August, down 64% compared with 25,861 tonnes during the same month in 2009, according to the country’s national agriculture, food and health service (Senasa).
During the first eight months of 2010, Argentinean beef exports totalled 100,416 tonnes (-54% compared with the same period in 2009). The main destinations were Russia with 28,455 tonnes, Israel with 17,680 tonnes, Chile with 10,061 tonnes, Venezuela with 8,216 tonnes and Germany with 7,422 tonnes.Share this story:
