The Pakistan Tanners’ Association (PTA) has welcomed the appointment of a new chief executive at the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).

Tariq Puri was recently named as the organisation’s CEO and PTA chairman Khurshid Alam is hopeful that Mr Puri will play an important role in supporting the country’s leather industry going forward. Mr Alam particularly hopes he will help to promote the sector’s exports.
