KCCI looks to improve Pakistan-Bangladesh export process
The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) is looking at ways of improving shipping routes and costs between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Former KCCI president Abdul Mohammad has written to Bangladesh’s deputy high commissioner, Roohul Siddiqui, suggesting that by improving the shipping process the two countries could significantly increase bilateral trade.
Sectors in which Mr Mohammad feels further cooperation could be achieved include leather, textiles, sporting goods, agricultural products and ceramics.
