Minerva in search of Middle East business

Brazilian packer and tanning group Minerva has sent a delegation on a commercial visit to Algeria and Oman. The company said it is aiming to boost its market share in the region and this trip was just the beginning.

In Oman, the Minerva representatives, headed by company president,
Fernando Galletti de Queiroz, met the country’s agriculture minister, Salim Bin Hilal Al Khalili and said he was positive about developing further his country’s partnership in this arena with Brazil.

Minerva already exports an important volume of meat to the Middle East, with shipments going to Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrein, Jordan, Iraq and the Palestinian National Authority and believes it can achieve growth by opening up new markets there.
