Haining fares well in autumn festival

The three days of the Mid-Autumn Festival, also called the Moon Festival, celebrated this year in China and Vietnam from September 22, attracted high numbers of visitors to China’s leather town, Haining.

The China Leather Industry Association quoted local leather clothing store owners as saying sales were surprisingly high, helped by a sudden drop in temperature.

During the three days of the festival, almost 75,000 visitors came to the city.
