Morocco hopes to double its Micam presence

The Moroccan Leather Industries Federation (Fedic) and the country's export promotions agency, Maroc Export, have said visitors from France, Belgium, Spain and Italy reacted positively to the samples on display from Moroccan companies.
Achwak Abdelhamid, an adviser to Maroc Export, said afterwards that the six Moroccan companies who took part had come away from Milan with orders and strong expressions of interest. He said his organisation and Fedic were also delighted to have secured interest from buyers in an event called Marocuir, which takes place in Casablanca from September 30 to October 2.
He also said that Morocco will double its presence at Micam next time around, the March edition. Twelve companies will take part and the Morocco stand will occupy 200 square-metres of exhibition space, he promised.
