New UK sales manager for Andrew Muirhead and Son

Glasgow-based leather manufacturer Andrew Muirhead and Son has announced the appointment of Andrew Young as its new UK sales manager.

A veteran of the industry and leather expert, Mr Young began his career at the Liverpool Tanning Company as administration manager in 1973. He held multiple roles at the company, progressing to group sales and marketing director before joining The Yarwood Group as sales director in 1998. He has joined Andrew Muirhead and Son from Crest JMT Leather.

Andrew Muirhead and Son supplies leather to most of the world’s leading airlines including British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Qantas. The company supplied leather for the public and business lounges at London Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5, as well as public seating at the world’s longest champagne bar at St Pancras Station in central London.
