Chinese firm introduces new tanning drum

A hand-written note attached to the equipment said that the water it was using had been recycled 83 times. Company president, Zhang Zhuangdou, told the China Leather Industry Association that the new drum can help tanners use 80% less water, 25% less energy and as much as 55% fewer chemicals.
