The National Association of Italian Manufacturers of Footwear, Leathergoods, Tannery Machines and Accessories (Assomac) hosted a technical seminar in Jinjiang City, China, on September 6.

The Italian Trade Commission in China and the Quanzhou leather industry association were joint organisers.

Leather experts from Italy demonstrated innovations in tanning machinery and spoke of their experience of managing environmental protection. A total of 13 Italian machinery manufacturers took part.
