Brazil beef exports up by 11%

Brazil's ministry of development, industry and external trade has announced that the country exported 95,900 tonnes of raw beef during the month of August generating export revenues of $391.7 million.

For the year to date, the total amount of Brazilian beef exported is 684,330 tonnes, with a value of $2.64 billion, an increase of almost 11% on the same time last year.

Across all industries, Brazil has exported $126 billion worth of goods so far this year and currently has a trade surplus averaging $70 million per day.
