Asia sales give Prada a boost

Italy-based luxury goods brand Prada has posted a 29 increase in revenue for the six months ended July 31. The company behind Church shoes, Miu Miu bags and the Prada brand said high demand in Asia had made a big impact on sales.
Sales for the six-month period totalled EUR930 million, rising 70% in Asia, 41% in the US and 37% in Europe. Its Prada and Miu Miu brands sold particularly well during the period.
