Swiss tanner Max Gimmel AG has acquired fellow operator Galluser AG. Both tanneries were in the Arbon district of the country.

Max Gimmel AG specialises in upholstery leathers for high-end furniture, aviation and automotive applications. Galluser’s main focus has been on making leather specialist footwear such as water-resistant boots for the Swiss army.
