Rizzi redevelops classic tanning machinery

Rizzi Spa, a company that started life in 1857 as a supplier of casting for the Italian railways, is also one of the oldest European designers and manufacturers of tanning machinery, having entered the field in 1945. It is famous for the early introduction of reliable hydraulic systems.

Now settled in modern Modena-based production facilities, Rizzi another Italian tanning machinery manufacturer, Flamar, in 2007 and the company is now manufacturing a comprehensive range of machines for tannery customers.

All of the classic and current skin and leather processing machines have been redeveloped by Rizzi engineers to the latest level of technology, with particular attention to robust construction. Models both in the fields of light and heavy leather production, from small animal skins through to heavy hides, are in a range from fleshing sammy-setting, shaving, splitting to buffing machinery.
