India’s exports of leather and leathergoods during the month of April 2010 reached a value of $262 million, growth of more than 33% compared to the same month last year.
The figures for May reached $273 million, an increase of 25.2% on the same month in 2009.
The Council for Leather Exports (CLE) is yet to release a full breakdown of these exports.
