01/07/2010
Chennai-based water technology solutions provider Shivsu Canadian Clear International has announced orders worth $6 million to install new waste water treatment plants at a variety of industrial facilities, including tanneries, in three African countries.

The company said it had received the approval of the governments of the three countries involved, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia.

The new waster water treatment plants will use membrane bio-reactors and advanced oxidation process technology to treat effluent. Shivsu Canadian Clear International said the plants can run non-stop and require minimum maintenance. Energy consumption is low.
