Automotive tanners will be pleased to hear that demand for luxury cars has risen in the US, Europe and China.

According to Bloomberg, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and BMW have responded by hiring temporary workers and scheduling additional shifts to meet increased demand. Each of three companies reported double-digit sales growth for May.

It claims Audi is hoping to find extra temporary workers to meet growing demand for its A8 and R8 models and to prepare for the launch of its premium A7.

Meanwhile, the BMW 5 Series is sold out in markets across the globe and Mercedes-Benz has added Saturday shifts at several of its plants.
