Luxury jewellery and leathergoods company Asprey has appointed Bruce Hoeksema as its creative director.

Based in London, Mr Hoeksema has spent more than 20 years working in the international fashion business. In 1984, he joined Italian fashion house Valentino, where his positions during his 16-year tenure included executive vice president of the international group, president of US operations and president of the French group. In 2000, he left Valentino to set up his own Italian luxury accessories brand VBH.

Asprey also said it wants to expand its leather, its jewellery, silver, china and crystal product lines.
