Morocco British Trade Day opens
Princess Lalla Joumala Alaoui officially opened the first ever Morocco British Trade Day on June 21. The event aims to improve links between Moroccan and British companies and to encourage UK companies to invest in Morocco.
She said that the day offered the opportunity to explore new avenues of cooperation and to develop strong, sustainable relations.
Other speakers at the event included British Ambassador to Morocco Tim Morris, secretary general and chief executive of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce Afnan Al-Shuaiby and Morocco's foreign trade minister, Abdellatif Maâzouz.
