Onsite leather materials testing at Spartanics
Leather goods manufacturers will be able to obtain free and immediate materials analysis from engineers at the Spartanics Laser Die Cutting Materials Applications Laboratory during a series of global trade events in the coming year. Manufacturers can bring samples to these events to be tested and will receive on-the-spot analysis of suitability and best-fit specifications for laser die cutting to meet their individual application requirements.
The first scheduled event is Label Expo Americas 2010, which will be held in Chicago, Illinois, on September 14–16. Further events will be announced in the near future.
Spartanics engineers have tested laser die cutters with varying laser strengths and software configurations with a wide range of materials including plastic films, polyesters, polycarbonates, foams, textiles, adhesive tapes, polypropylene, polymides and rubber.
