Mexico sends delegation to Spain

Leaders of nine leather and footwear businesses in Guanajuato also took part in the trip.
They said afterwards that all the participants had garnered useful information and knowledge that confirmed that the strategies industry leaders in Mexico want to follow are the right ones. They also said they hoped the dialogue between the leather industries of Spain and Mexico would continue.
CICEG president, Armando Martín Dueñas, said there were important Spanish companies, including Zara's parent group Inditex, that have a high level of interest in Mexico and want to increase the amount of fashion items they produce there. For suppliers, including those in the leather and footwear sector, this will mean an increase in the flexibility and responsiveness they need to show.
