Gerber plays it cool at SPESA

At the event, which took place from May 18-20, Gerber exhibited a number of new products for the first time in North America, including YuniquePLM 3.0, AccuMark 8.4, GERBERplotter XLp95 and GERBERcutter DCS2600 with Pivex, as well as newly integrated Virtek Laser systems for the technical textile and apparel industries.
Bill Brewster, president of Gerber Software Solutions, said in the build-up to the event: “We are excited to share our newest innovations and anticipate that these enhancements will strengthen our position and provide our customers with greater control over their entire production process.”
YuniquePLM is a product lifecycle management solution that Gerber says delivers the full range of functionality needed by today’s fast-paced apparel, footwear and soft goods industries. For its part, AccuMark 8.4 contains a comprehensive set of pattern development tools to meet the ever-changing needs of today's designers, helping them improve communication, collaboration and efficiency.
At this year's SPESA event, Gerber also participated in a special area called COOL ZONE 2.0, which highlighted current and future technologies that support a digital supply-chain for the fashion industry.
