Tanning Tech 2010 dates announced

The organiser of the Tanning Tech exhibition in Bologna, the National Association of Italian Manufacturers of Footwear, Leathergoods, Tannery Machines and Accessories (Assomac), has announced that the event will take place this year on October 12-14, in conjunction with the Lineapelle and Simac events.
 
On announcing the dates, Assomac said the focus this year would be on furthering the drive to recovery by presenting tanners with the most up-to-date tanning machinery and chemical products on the market.

"The exhibitors at Tanning Tech offer mechanical and chemical solutions for the tanning sector that respond to the needs of the market," Assomac said, "and satisfy the aims of modern leather processing: cutting-edge fashion articles, production that complies with the rules of sustainability for the environment and energy resources, and rationalised production costs and resource exploitation."
