Puro Chile introduces new salmon leather furniture

Puro Chile has launched an exclusive collection of salmon leather furniture and accessories in the US.

According to the company, salmon leather is a revolutionary eco material that converts a disposable product into a luxury item. A by-product of Chile’s fishing industry, salmon leather is created from skins that are typically discarded during fish packaging. After it has been dried, tanned, and dyed, salmon leather takes on the characteristics of python without the high price point.

Puro Chile is producing ottomans and lounge chairs covered made from the leather as well as bottle carriers, fashion accessories and finished leather. Prices range from $45 to $2,500.
