Vietnamese leather representatives visit Tunisia
With trade ties going back to 1972, Vietnamese firms are looking to improve trade levels with Tunisia. A delegation, led by Vietnamese president Nguyen Minh Triet, is currently visiting the North African country to see where investment can be made and relationships can be built.
Also taking part in the visit, which runs April 12-13, are 50 business representatives from a range of industries including leather and footwear, chemicals, and textiles and clothing. Mr Triet said on April 12 he hoped Vietnamese exports to Tunisia would increase by 7-8% by 2016.
