Brazil’s beef exports to grow 20%

According to Brazil’s agriculture minister, Reinhold Stephanes, the country’s beef exports are expected to increase by 20% this year.
Mr Stephanes claimed the agriculture sector is showing stronger average growth than it has done for the past 10 years.
He said that 75% of this growth has come from increases in efficiency and productivity, not from increases in the number of agricultural locations. The 20% increase for beef can, he claims, be achieved without harming the Amazon biome.
