SIMM moved to September
Having been held in July for the last two years, the upcoming second Madrid International Fashion Fair (SIMM) of the year will take place in September this time around. The upcoming event will take place on September 2-4.
More than 400 Spanish and international companies are expected to participate, all of whom will be showcasing collections for spring-summer 2011. Around 600 fashion and accessory brands will be represented at the fair.
The most recent SIMM, which took part in February, saw visitor numbers rise 47.5% compared with the July 2009 event. Organisers are hoping this is a sign of recovery and hopes to see visitor numbers continue to increase. Around 17,500 buyers are believed to have attended the February edition, 12% of whom travelled from abroad.
