IULTCS decides venue of 2015 congress

At a meeting of the International Union of Leather Chemists and Technologists’ Societies (IULTCS) on March 29, members of the organisation voted to hold the 2015 IULTCS Congress in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil.
The 2011 congress will be in Valencia, Spain, while the 2013 edition of the biennial event will take place in Istanbul, Turkey.
The vote on the 2015 congress took place at an IULTCS meeting on the first day of the APLF exhibition in Hong Kong. Novo Hamburgo won through in a vote against Chennai, India. Chennai will now hope to hold the 2017 event.
Exact dates for 2015 have not yet been announced, but the event will take place in October or November, which is springtime in the Brazilian city.
