Tannery of the Year finalists head for Hong Kong

With only four days to go until the Gala Awards Dinner for the first Tannery of the Year Awards programme, participants have begun to arrive in Hong Kong.
The dinner begins at 8.30 on the evening of Monday, March 29 in the Bauhinia Banqueting Suite in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, which overlooks Hong Kong Harbour.
Before that, the ten finalist tanneries, representing five regions around the world, will make presentations to the judging panel in the course of the afternoon and then gather at 8.00 pm for a pre-dinner champagne reception. Only at the dinner will the audience, and the entire industry, find out the identities of the winners for Africa, the Americas, China, the rest of Asia, and Europe.
The dramatic end to the evening will be the announcement of which of these five regional winners will win the global award, and be the first Tannery of the Year.
