Pakistan is planning to participate in the third South Asian Countries Commodity Fair, which takes place in Kunming, China, from June 6-10 this year.
The leather industry in Pakistan has said it will use the event to explore markets for its tanned leather, leather garments and other products.
The Chinese government began organising the South Asian Countries Fair to narrow the trade imbalance and enhance economic relationship between China and South Asian countries.
Pakistan has already entered into a free trade agreement with China. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has said it plans to use the event in Kunming to raise awareness of this agreement among Chinese buyers.
