Bags boost figures for Tunisia

Tunisia’s the National Centre for Leather and Footwear (CNCC) has published figures for leathergoods exports in January 2010 that show encouraging increases compared to the same month last year.
The industry body said exports of leather bags and belts from the North African country had been particularly encouraging. Bag exports increased from just over $2 million in January 2009 to $2.5 million in the same month this year.
