Visitors to Modacalzado up by 10%

The twenty-fifth edition of the Modacalzado and Iberpiel footwear and leathergoods event in Madrid took place between March 11 and 13 with the organisers claiming a satisfactory result.
The exhibition attracted a total of 9,934 trade visitors, which represents a 10% increase compared to March 2009. Of these, 8,587, or 86.4%, were from Spain. The organiers said these figures “confirm and consolidate the fair's role as an indispensable meeting forum for the industry in Spain”.
There were 314 exhibiting companies and a 2% increase in exhibition space compared to March last year.
