New era for Cameroon and Turkey

The first ever state visit to Cameroon by the president of Turkey, Abdullah Gül, has lead to an extensive agreement on two-way co-operation between the countries, focusing mainly on technical, scientific and agricultural development.
President Gül and his counterpart, President Paul Biya, signed the agreement in Yaoundé on March 18.
The document specifies that development of the tanning sector in Cameroon will form part of the projects that the two countries work on together in the years ahead.
