New trends announced for Offenbach event

The organisers of the Internationale Lederwaren Messe (ILM) in Offenbach, Germany, have issued details of the trends they have identified for bags and other leathergoods for th autumn-winter 2010-2011 season, which will feature at the nex ILM on March 19-21.
The ILM trends consultants have said that the main theme for the season will be that a re-interpretation of elegance is on an equal footing with "energetic individuality".
The times of delicacy and extreme fragility are gone, their report says. Self-assurance is combined with a new understanding of values and sustainability, and the central message lies between New Naturalness and innovative elegance.
The four ILM trend topics for the season provide innovation as well as modernised tradition, the report continue. The topics are as follows.
Country Drifters, which represents vintage, authenticity and modernised tradition. It also symbolises the longing for a life in harmony with nature. Sustainability and the necessity to combine modernity with social and ecological awareness is furthermore a motor for innovations, the trends report says. The look expresses the desire for the genuine, the living and the unadulterated.
Into the Pure is whreladylike meets new nostalgia. The style iconics of the 40s are summoned. The Balmain-Mania transforms the silhouettes of the shoulder lines and gives the look a cool aesthetics.
Hyper Reality is a playfully striking design idiom, with a colour and pattern mix. This topic is not necessarily defined by outfits and silhouettes but by the contrasting combination of thrilling components.
Finally, Twisted Nobility speaks of border-crossing, with an impressive mix of couture and casual. Mysterious darks and noble glamour contribute to the ensemble of Rock Star Attribute and Glam Rock Allure ending in a maximum of coolness.
