The organisers of the Anpic exhibition, which took place for the thirty-fifth time in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, from February 18–21, have reported a record attendance at the event.
Hopes were high that 20,000 visitors would visit the exhibition but at the end of the four days, the organisers were able to report that the final figure was more than 22,000. The event attracted 21,122 visitors in 2009.
Anpic commercial director, Óscar Murrieta, commented: “Even though the economic situation isn’t the most favourable, we can say that this has been a good result. From what exhibitors have told us so far, visitors found Anpic this year to be inventive. The event is re-inventing itself.”
