New format for Expo Riva Schuh Middle East
Around 200 buyers attended leathergoods and footwear trade show Expo Riva Schuh Middle East, which ran for just one day this year, February 18. The event took place at Expo Centre Sharjah, UAE, and also included a workshop focused on training for footwear professionals and promoting footwear distribution channels in the Gulf.
"We decided to present Expo Riva Schuh Middle East as a one-off, interesting seminar and fashion show, taking into consideration the changed market conditions. We received excellent response from the industry," said Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, director-general of Expo Centre Sharjah.
Brands on show at the event included: Alfiere, Alpha Trade, Cerutti, Comyp, Emozioni, Imac, Jorge Bischoff, Lizard, Michael, Paolo Santini and Renato Cenedella.
