Burberry displays fashion show in 3D
UK-based luxury goods company Burberry is to stream its autumn-winter 2010-2011 womenswear catwalk show, live from London Fashion Week in 3D.
According to the company’s chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey, this will “enable people to experience the energy and atmosphere of this event from around the world”. He added: “3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them to see the colours and fabrics, to hear the music and to be a part of that moment when it all finally comes together.’’
The catwalk show will be held at The Chelsea College of Art on February 23 and will be streamed on an invitation-only basis to New York, Paris, Dubai, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
