According to Pakistan’s government, Australia has reduced customs duties on imports of various Pakistani products.

Duties have reportedly been cut to 10% on leather clothing, knitwear, ready-to-wear, bedding and towels. Duties on finished leather, footwear, footballs, and cotton fabric and yarn have been reduced to 5%. Meanwhile, duties on leather gloves have been set at between 5% and 10%, according to reports.

Australia imports goods worth around $150 million from Pakistan each year and it is hoped the measures will give exporters an extra boost.
