Specialist leather chemicals supplier TFL has published a new Eco Guidelines brochure. It is the second brochure the company has published to give people in the industry a better understanding of the ecological aspects of leather manufacturing.

Entitled ‘Salt and Nitrogen Reduction in the Leather Making Process’, the guidelines show how much, and at which steps in the process, salt and nitrogen levels can be reduced simply by modifying the process and the chemicals used.

“We are convinced that the brochure is customised to the particular requirements of our direct customers and very useful for the whole leather processing industry,” says the company.
